The LEDS10XX series of precision LED light sources have
been designed as a viable alternative to more costly laser/beam expander
combinations. These devices have been engineered for ease of use, reliability,
and instrument grade stability. Our innovative method of achieving stability

The
LEDS1020 is the first device in a series of stabilized LED light sources,
using a single InGaN die at a center wavelength of 470-nm. It features
a continuous wave, narrow angle divergent beam whose output intensity
is adjustable via a trimmer potentiometer built into the rear of the
package. Intensity is stabilized over line/load fluctuations and temperature
to 500 ppm per degC by optical feedback. Power can be applied to the
device with an unregulated wall adapter via a P-7 (1.3 mm) industry
standard power jack. A female threaded cavity is available at the front
of the package for adding 1-inch or 25-mm optics.
We
